FAQs

I often get questions about the best practices for you to store your acrylic and metal prints, which I address below, as well as returns/exchanges.

STORAGE OF ACRYLIC & METAL PRINTS

I’m often asked about the best way to store acrylic and metal prints before they’re hung. To keep them in pristine condition, I recommend laying them flat until you’re ready to display them. Leaning them upright for extended periods—especially against uneven surfaces—can cause slight warping or edge curling over time. Keeping them flat helps preserve their original shape and quality.

CARE OF ACRYLIC & METAL PRINTS

Caring for your acrylic print is easy. I suggest gently dusting it occasionally with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. For smudges or streaks, use a small amount of mild soap mixed with water and gently wipe with a clean, soft cloth. Follow with a damp cloth to remove any residue, then blot dry with another soft cloth.

A few important notes: avoid any cleaners with ammonia or alcohol, as they can damage the surface. Never use paper towels or rough materials, which can scratch the acrylic. And try not to get the back or edges of the print wet—they’re not designed to handle moisture over time.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Each piece I create is made to order with great care for every collector. Because of this, all sales are final. That said, I understand that things can change.

Exchanges Only

I offer exchanges—but not refunds. If you’d like to exchange a piece, please contact me within 48 hours of your purchase. The artwork must be in its original, undamaged condition and returned in the original packaging.

A 20% restocking fee applies to all exchanges. You’ll also be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Once I receive and inspect the original piece, I’ll begin the exchange process. Please note that exchanged artwork is also made to order and may require additional production time.

If Your Artwork Arrives Damaged

Please contact me within 24 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the damage. If approved, I’ll send a replacement at no additional cost.

Important: Don’t throw away any packaging until your exchange or replacement has been confirmed.

This policy applies only to purchases made directly through Chadwick’s Online Art Gallery, and it constitutes the full agreement between us for all transactions.
